JAYJUN's safety systems
Dedicated one-to-one anesthesia care
JAYJUN Plastic Surgery first reviews detailed test results to determine whether surgery is appropriate. Then, a plastic surgeon and an anesthesiologist jointly develop an individualized surgical plan.
Our safety management system provides careful oversight at every stage to support a comfortable surgical environment.

We assess whether surgery is appropriate through screening for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, arrhythmia and tuberculosis, including blood tests and specialist examinations, an electrocardiogram and chest X-rays.
From before surgery through postoperative recovery, an anesthesiology and pain medicine specialist experienced in plastic surgery closely checks your condition.
A continuous anesthetic infusion pump helps ensure safe anesthesia and normal breathing during surgery. We also install oxygen and nitrogen supply equipment in the recovery and inpatient rooms to support postoperative care and a comfortable recovery from anesthesia.

Patient monitor

B20
This equipment monitors vital signs including the electrocardiogram (ECG), respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP), invasive blood pressure (IBP) and end-tidal carbon dioxide (ETCO₂).

CARESCAPE V100
This portable monitor has a built-in rechargeable battery. It measures vital signs such as oxygen saturation, mean arterial pressure (MAP), systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and pulse rate, analyzes trends and displays numerical results. Data can be printed when needed and saved by the built-in recorder to support ongoing assessment and monitoring of the patient's condition.

Dash 4000
A continuous anesthesia patient monitor that tracks temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure in the operating and recovery rooms, alerting doctors and nurses via alarms for rapid response to any abnormality.
JAYJUN's safety systems
University hospital-level safety systems
For emergency preparedness, we are equipped with an AED, an uninterruptible self-generating power system, and university hospital-level
emergency equipment and systems.

Central monitoring system
An anesthesiology and pain medicine specialist assesses and monitors every patient's condition in real time during surgery. Double and triple checks and linked monitoring continue across both the operating and recovery rooms.

Automated external defibrillator (AED)
A defibrillator is available for a prompt emergency response

UPS self-generating power system
Backup power helps surgery continue safely in the event of an unexpected outage

Sterilizer
Medical equipment and instruments are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before use to help prevent secondary infection

Gas leak warning system
Medical gas leak alerts for patient safety

Patient warming system
During a long operation, body temperature can fall below its normal range, causing hypothermia. A patient warming system helps prevent this and supports a comfortable recovery.

Dantrolene for malignant hyperthermia
We keep dantrolene on hand so that we can respond promptly to malignant hyperthermia, a rare complication that may occur during surgery under general anesthesia.

Airway management device
This single-use device helps maintain an open airway during anesthesia and allows gentle intubation without trauma. For patient hygiene, JAYJUN discards it after one use.

Continuous anesthetic infusion pump / oxygen and nitrogen supply
A continuous anesthetic infusion pump helps ensure safe anesthesia and normal breathing during surgery. Oxygen and nitrogen supply equipment is also installed in the recovery and inpatient rooms for postoperative care and a comfortable recovery from anesthesia.
JAYJUN's safety systems

Patient health and safety come first for all JAYJUN doctors and staff. We follow strict personal hygiene practices and sterilize all medical and surgical instruments.

Regular disinfection on every floor

Frequent hand disinfection by all staff

All clinical staff follow surgical scrubbing and hand antisepsis procedures before surgery

All surgical instruments are sterilized after each use

Sterilization and disinfection system

High-pressure steam sterilizer
Medical and surgical instruments are sterilized with high-pressure steam in a vacuum cycle

Ethylene oxide (EO) gas sterilization
Vacuum ethylene oxide gas sterilization inhibits bacterial growth and destroys bacteria

University hospital coordination
JAYJUN Plastic Surgery has established a real-time care coordination system with Seoul National University Hospital and Gangnam Severance Hospital to prepare for emergencies.
This enables a prompt response to urgent situations that may arise.
