What is your standard of beauty
as a clinic director?
There is no absolute standard of beauty.
I believe everyone has a beauty of their own.
It is not just facial features: a person's values, attitude toward life,
the expression in their eyes and their skin tone come together to create their unique appeal.
Surgery should do more than change a patient's appearance.
That change in appearance can also open the way to something more.
Helping people develop a more positive outlook
and become more attractive as individuals—
that is what I see as JAYJUN's role.

What role should
JAYJUN Plastic Surgery play?
Sometimes patients who are already attractive come to me wanting surgery.
Their eyes are a suitable size and their nose is not low, yet they are not satisfied.
Perhaps their ideal was the look often called a “Gangnam beauty.”
There have been times when I explained at length and advised a patient to go home
because of unrealistic beauty standards some women have today.
I told her to come back when wrinkles appeared.
Being able to say that is also part of JAYJUN's role.
