Swelling makes the nose look crooked; it feels hard and blocked… ‘Has my surgery gone wrong?’ If that worry has kept you up at night, this video is for you! Dr. Park Kisoo of JAYJUN Plastic Surgery explains the difference between symptoms you can feel reassured about and serious symptoms that mean you should go straight to the clinic. Symptoms you can feel reassured about: a firm nasal tip (the tissues are working hard to heal together!); a nose that looks crooked or upturned (uneven swelling that resolves with time); redness and bruising at the tip (increased demands on the circulation; these can be observed); a blocked nose (crusts and swelling together—do not pick at it; visit the clinic!); a pulling pain and an awkward smile (a natural response to raising the nose). ‘This really is an emergency’—go to the clinic immediately! Watch for symptoms that appear suddenly during recovery: a sudden marked increase in swelling after things had been fine, sudden warmth, or sudden redness. Stress and anxiety can make swelling take longer to settle. Stop worrying on your own and check the facts in the video now!Join JAYJUN Talks✧*.◟(ˊᗨˋ)◞.*✧
