Hello.
Today, we’ll talk about correcting a crooked nose.
Take a photo of your nose from the front. You’ll be able to see where it deviates.
Based on this, divide the nose into 3 sections.
The bony framework, the cartilage in the middle of the bridge, and the cartilage at the tip.
There are different correction methods depending on where the deviation is.
Some people may have a misaligned facial axis.
In such cases, nose correction needs to take the overall facial axis into account.
A different correction method is used for each area.
Asymmetrical nasal bones can be corrected by cutting the nasal bones or grafting soft tissue.
A deviation in the middle of the bridge is corrected by adjusting the cartilage.
If the tip is crooked, asymmetry in the alar cartilage is corrected.
After correcting the deviation, the nose shape can be adjusted.
Silicone or other materials can be used to create the desired shape.
However, correction options may be limited if the deviation is caused by the bone between the brows.
As you watch this video, check where your nose deviates when viewed from the front.
We hope it helps you understand how a crooked nose can be corrected.
Thank you. See you next time.
