Today, we introduce Net Lifting, a new lifting procedure performed by Dr. Kim Kiwan at JAYJUN Plastic Surgery. Net Lifting differs somewhat from conventional lifting. Conventional lifts release tissue down to the muscle layer and pull it to address wrinkles, whereas Net Lifting releases tissue at the dermal layer and lifts only the skin. After the skin is released and lifted, sutures secure it at multiple points on the surface. The pattern resembles a net, which is how the procedure got its name. You may expect many scars because sutures secure the outer skin, but they are removed within 2 days after surgery. The multiple fixation points adhere within those 2 days, so the skin does not sag even when the sutures are removed early. However, unlike other lifts, marks from the surface sutures may remain for a while. Once recovery is complete, these marks disappear. Because Net Lifting smooths wrinkles by lifting only the wrinkled skin, we especially recommend it for people whose firm skin has limited the results of conventional lifting, those whose hair loss makes a forehead lift difficult, and those with wrinkles too deep to benefit from other lifts. It can offer good results even for people who did not benefit from a conventional forehead lift. If skin wrinkles concern you, why not consider Net Lifting at JAYJUN Plastic Surgery?
